ENTERTAINING CHILDRENVisit Local Attractions and Activities for Children- Here are some great local attractions and activities: Sandy Beaches in Oceanside, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Solana Beach or Del Mar, Surfing Lessons in Leucadia, Carlsbad's Legoland Theme Park, Vista's Wave Waterpark, Escondido's great San Diego Safari Park and the Escondido Children's Museum. They will also enjoy the friendly Free Flight Exotic Bird Sanctuary in Del Mar. A Less Than One-Hour Drive Will Take Them To- La Jolla to the Birch Aquarium or to San Diego to Sea World, the famous San Diego Zoo, the Giant Dipper Roller Coaster at Belmont Park or Balboa Park with its wonderful Reuben H. Fleet Science Center, IMAX Theater and other attractions for children. In A Less Than One And A Half-Hour Drive, You Can Take Them To- Anaheim to Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure theme parks or to Buena Park's Knott's Berry Farm theme park.
