Located in Oceanside, California, Pacifica, Senior Community, also know as Ocean Manor, is an Age 55+ retirement community of more than 200 conventionally-built, homes. They are a mix of detached and half-duplex homes with attached two car garages. These attractive, well-kept homes were built in the late 1970’s. Their front yards and the community's common areas are attractively landscaped and well-maintained.

Pacifica has a community clubhouse with meeting/recreation and exercise rooms. It also has a heated swimming pool, tennis courts, shuffleboard, & horseshoe pits and BBQ grills. Pacifica is located approximately 5.5 miles inland from the Pacific coast giving it a year around Climate that ranks among the best in the U.S. Its great climate allows active retirees to participate in outdoor activities nearly all year long and get the most enjoyment from their active retirement years.

Pacifica is located in the Tri-city area of Oceanside, in a narrow east-west finger of the city that extends between Vista on the north and Carlsbad on the south (See a Map of the area). This location places it near a nice-sized, nearly new shopping center (approximately 1.5 miles away on College Blvd.) and near other quality shopping, entertainment, recreational sites, Mira Costa College and within 3.5 miles of the Tri City Medical Center.
Golf is available at several fine nearby Golf Courses. Living in Pacifica also means that you're never far from fine restaurants, quality shopping, movies, live theaters, theme parks and other recreational sites. Its close proximity (approximately 1.5 miles) to Highway 78 provides easy access to other North San Diego cities and to the I-5 (coastal) and I-15 (inland) corridors to San Diego and the rest of California. Its great climate, beautiful surroundings and close proximity to the coast and San Diego county's many amenities, give Pacifica an ambiance that provides year-round indoor and outdoor fun and games, balanced with culture, a comfortable lifestyle and a large choice of mental and physical activities.

Home Choices-

Pacifica offers choices of detached or half- duplex homes The half-duplexes are attached by their garages. All are single-story homes with 2-3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. They range in size from approximately 1150 to 1600 sq. ft. All have attached two 2 car garages and one or more patios and some patios have nice views. In addition, most homes have cozy fire places and some models have vaulted ceilings and an extra room. Exterior building upkeep and common areas maintenance is paid for from Home Owners Fees.


Home Prices and Home Owner Fees-

Current Prices:    High $200K to high $300K
Home Owner's Fees:   $313 per month- Pays for Common Area Maintenance, Exterior Bldg Maintenance, Insurance, Cable/TV Services, Sewer, Trash Pickup and water.

Some examples are: Mira Costa College that offers free courses to senior citizens is less than one mile away, the Oceanside Senior Center that offers hundreds of activities is located less than 6 miles away, beach walking, surfing, swimming, sailing and fishing activities are less than 7 miles away at the Oceanside City Beaches, Pier and Harbor, and golf is available at the nearby Emerald Island Golf Course and at other local golf courses.
In short, Pacifica offers a rich cultural life and plentiful outdoor activities surrounded by North San Diego County's coastal and inland beauty.
