The Community- Located in Oceanside, California, Pilgrim Creek Estates is a gated retirement community of 202 detached, manufactured homes, most of which were built in the mid to late 1980's. The majority of these homes have 2-car garages and permanent foundations. The median size of the Pilgrim Creek Estates homes that were offered for sale during 2006 was 1685 square feet. That is somewhat larger than homes in our other manufactured home retirement communities. Pilgrim Creek Estates is a quiet community of well-kept homes and attractively landscaped grounds. It has a community center with a beautiful and spacious clubhouse and a swimming pool and spa/hot tub. Pilgrim Creek Estates' location is city-close in a peaceful alcove of North Oceanside, approximately 6.5 miles from the coast. Its Great Location- Pilgrim Creek Estates is located near the northwest border of Oceanside, adjacent to the Camp Pendleton Marine Base (See a Map of the area). Its location is approximate 6-miles inland from the coast, a distance that is far enough away to escape much of the coastal fog and morning overcast, but close enough to provide an almost perfect year-round Climate. Its serene environment, cool ocean breezes and views of rolling hills give it an ambience of being near the coast and yet far from the hustle and bustle of city life. Pilgrim Creek Estates is also not far from fine restaurants, quality shopping, movies, live theaters, theme parks and other recreational sites. Typically, they have open floor plans, vaulted ceilings and one or more patios, and some have wood burning fireplaces. Most have attached two-car garages and some have panoramic views of the rolling hills and valleys. Approximate Home Prices and Home Owner Fees- Current Prices (June, 2008): Mid $200K to Mid $300K range. Home Owner's Fees: Approximately $185 to $212 per month- Pays for common area maintenance, sewer, trash pickup and water.	The Pilgrim Creek Estates community contains a variety  of styles of manufactured homes with low- maintenance yards.
